I'm going to respond now to the tank LOVERS out there! If anything drop weber and keep Pysyk! I know weber is needed to help is lose but I'm tired of the whole tanking concept! It's pointless! It sounds like something you would do on NHL 15! I and I'm sure there are a lot others (season ticket holders) that want to see this team win now! Not 2 years from now with the hope of McDavid/Eichel can take us over the hump! Odds aren't good nowadays! This team is underrated right now but I think they may turn heads and challenge for possible playoff spot! The RIGHT leadership was brought in for this team! Gionta! Always had odds against him but he still succeeded! Great support! Gorges! The best line mate Myers will ever have! Support cast; Mezaros and Benoit. Paired right they are very serviceable dmen with offensive capabilities. The "baby sabres" are going to play better this year with no turmoil or question marks in the management and coaching of this team!

Let's be true fans! Root for the Snow run Islanders to screw things up and get us the top 1 or 2 pick! Islanders always seem to lose it where a major injury or bonehead coaching or management moves cost this team dearly!

I was trying to copy the "report" icon and reply to this post with that due to all of the exclamation points, but I think that I accidentally reported it. Whoops.

Most of us can handle one more season of tanking. So tired of mediocrity. We need an elite talent badly.

Unreal that Ellis is still mentioned when it comes to making this team, he is a scrub get rid of him once and for all.

Weber's a loose cannon. He'll always take stupid penalties. That won't change. Seems like he's on the ice for practically every goal against. McCabe is sooooo much better.

Who will have the better offensive carreer between Ristolainen & Zadorov?
I'm in a keeper league (points only) and I wonder which one I should consider to draft...

umm, I don't think McCabe is an offensive defenseman by any means. Not at this level.

He definitely has more offensive potential than Pysyk! The one thing you always hear people say is you never notice Pysyk and that's because he doesn't do anything but play it safe and never join the rush. He's a blah defenseman. Sure he's a stay at home dman but he isn't big enough to play that style!

Since the WTC's last year, I have loved McCabe and am glad to hear he is in contention for a spot this year.
That said, I do think that 1 year in the A is only going to help him long-term. Besides, Pysyk has eraned his due and in my mind is now ready to make the leap full time. With Risto making the Sabres, I would think Teddy has room for 2 rookies on the bluline...until the trade deadline...then maybe that is when McCabe comes up?

oh, and !!!! I think that is new protocol on here!!!
